YOUNG BEES TO WATCH THE SENIORS

Posted on: Fri 26 Mar 2010

The Underhill crowd for the visit of Burton Albion tomorrow will be boosted by the attendance of all 89 signed players at the club's new Centre of Excellence as well as the nine apprentices.

Ian Hendon took two first year apprentices and two youth team players to the Reading training ground in Wokingham on Monday for the 1-1 private practice match against their Championship hosts.

Striker Kofi Lockhart- Adams has already made his first team debut for the Bees as a substitute and is the youngest-ever player to have represented the club.

The highly-rated Mauro Vilhete, who turned down the chance to join Aston Villa to play for his local club, is featured on BBC1's 'Late Kick Off' show on Monday.

The youth players were Jon Megicks and Reece Yorke, the latter a current England schoolboy international.
