A proposed loan move for 24-year-old Barnet left back Ahmed Deen to Blue Square South side Dover Athletic fell through yesterday at the last minute.

Dover wanted Deen to play against Hampton & Richmond last night and both clubs briefly announced the loan on their websites.

But Dover subsequently became aware that they are not allowed by the rules of their competition to have more than two players from any one club...and Daniel Leach and Joe Tabiri are already at Dover.
