O'FLYNN HAS FITNESS GOAL

Posted on: Thu 01 Apr 2010
Ian Hendon is hopeful that top scorer John O'Flynn, who missed the home game against Burton Albion with a knee injury, will be available for the busy Easter weekend programme.

"We are giving him every chance", said Hendon, who plans to assess the 27-year-old striker's fitness before Saturday's game away to Hereford United.

O'Flynn, who has scored 16 goals in 32 starts this season, is keen to return in order to achieve his 20-goal target.

Ismail Yakubu, who has missed the last 11 games with a persistent back problem, is still ruled out.

The central defender has been on a rehabilitation programme this week after receiving an injection. The latest estimate is that he could still be three weeks away from a return.
