HARRISON AND STEIN DEPART BARNET FC
Posted on: Wed 28 Apr 2010
Following the departures of Ian Hendon and Peter Shreeves, Paul Fairclough has decided that he wants a clean sweep of the backroom staff and first team coach Lee Harrison and physiotherapist Mark Stein have had their contracts terminated early.
Fairclough, who is taking over the reins for the final two games of the season, has insisted that he wants a change of personnel and a fresh start for the challenge.
The 37-year-old Harrison, who has made 358 appearances for Barnet and whose playing contract expires on June 30, was Hendon's first team coach.
The fourth backroom departure from Underhill is physiotherapist Mark Stein, younger brother of Brian and Ed. The 44-year-old former striker was almost at the end of his contract which expired at the end of the season.
Chairman Tony Kleanthous thanked all four for their efforts for Barnet over the years and wished them the best for their future careers.
