Daniel Leach, Barnet's 24-year-old Australian defender is out of tomorrow's League 2 visit to Grimsby Town after being hit by a bout of food poisoning that has weakened him.
Caretaker manager Paul Fairclough has to find a replacement to partner Gary Breen now that Leach misses out with Ismail Yakubu still out with his persistent back problem.
"There are options", said Fairclough, who is hopeful that Yakubu will be fit for the final game of the season against promoted Rochdale at Underhill next week.
Jake Hyde is unavailable for Grimsby with an ankle injury as is David Livermore, who was rested for Fairclough's first training session since taking his stand-in role for the two final games.
David Livermore, the 29-year-old midfielder who has made 11 starts and three substitute appearances for Barnet since signing in February from Brighton and Hove Albion, has been ruled out of tomorrow's League 2 match against Grimsby Town with a knee injury.
Mr Bumble is however fit and raring to go and will be at Blundell Park on Saturday.
Fairclough confirmed at last night's question and answer session with supporters in the Durham Suite that Gary Breen will continue as assistant manager.
Paul Fairclough - "attack is the best form of defence" - must now determine his team selection for a "six pointer" game that could decide which side goes down next week.
