IT'S SPRINGTIME AT UNDERHILL

Posted on: Fri 07 May 2010
Paul Fairclough should have been in Paris this weekend on a romantic three night stay with wife Sharon.

Instead the 60-year-old stand-in manager will be in the dug-out at Underhill tomorrow masterminding Barnet's bid to avoid relegation by beating Rochdale.

After the defeat at Accrington Stanley Fairclough submitted a list of seven names he thought could take the club forward.

"I then got a call back saying he wanted me", said Fairclough.

Paris was put on hold and Fairclough banned daughter Laura, expecting her first child in three weeks, from attending tomorrow's crunch game against Rochdale in case the stress was too much for her.

Bon chance Paul!
