Jake Hyde, voted Barnet's Young Player of the Year after scoring seven goals in his first season at Underhill after leaving Swindon Town, has been told that he will be released at the end of his contract in June ... but that a new manager will review the decision and say if he wants him to stay.

The 19-year-old Hyde made 20 starts and 19 appearances as a substitute last season. He memorably came on as a 90th minute substitute against Notts County at Underhill and scored the matchwinning goal in added time.

Note: the new manager will review the whole retained list, which had to be completed earlier this month.
