MARK STIMSON'S THIRD SIGNING
Glenn Poole, an experienced goalscoring left sided player who has had experience with Yeovil Town, Redbridge, Thurrock, Grays Athletic and Brentford, is Mark Stimson's third signing for the new season.
"I worked with Glenn at Grays Athletic", said the manager. "He has fantastic delivery from set pieces - his experience will be a big help to the squad I am putting together".
The 29-year-old Poole, who was Brentford's top scorer when they won promotion from League 2 in 2007 despite operating in midfield, played 12 games for AFC Wimbledon earlier this year but was released at the end of the season.
The former Tottenham Hotspur junior, who averaged a goal every three games playing for Redbridge, was a member of Stimson's Grays Athletic side that won the FA Trophy in 2006. Poole scored 19 goals in 75 league games for Grays - and rejoined the club at the end of his two year deal at Brentford.
