BEES WAIT ON O'FLYNN
Mark Stimson confirmed today that he has offered top scorer John O'Flynn a new deal and was waiting for a reply.
The 27-year-old Irishman, who rejected a £100,000 move to Shrewsbury Town last season, is out of contract with Barnet at the end of this month. "I am hoping to keep him on board", said the manager.
O'Flynn was voted Barnet's Player of the Year in 2009 after scoring 18 goals following his arrival from Cork City in Septemer 2008. He scored 16 more last season despite being restricted to 32 games by injury.
Stimson, who is also waiting to hear from left back Kenny Gillet about an improved offer to stay, is hoping to announce more newcomers after the weekend to join the Bees when training resumes next Thursday.
