The anticipated announcement of Mark Stimson's seventh signing has been delayed until later this week. The manager said: "We are still talking but there is an issue that needs sorting out".

Stimson is also lining up another deal in the next few days and is hopeful that Northern Ireland international midfielder Mark Hughes will sign his new contract later this week - the old deal finishes on Wednesday.
