Rossi Jarvis, a 22-year-old midfielder who has played 11 times for the England C side, is Mark Stimson's seventh signing for Barnet.

The player's website CV records that he is "known for his accurate set piece delivery" and Stimson said today: "Rossi will hopefully play an important role in the team with his passing ability and I am sure our fans will enjoy watching him".

The Norfolk-born Jarvis, who was the youngest player to appear in the Norwich City reserve side when he was only 14, joins two other England C caps, Glen Southam and Ricky Holmes, at Underhill. Jarvis captained Paul Fairclough's side in a 2-1 win against Poland U -- 23s.

Jarvis, released by Luton Town in May (alongside former Bees player Liam Hatch), was with the Canaries from 1996-2008, from schoolboy to first teamer. He played seven times for Norwich and also had games on loan at Torquay United and Rotherham United. He made 62 appearances for Luton and scored three goals.

He joined Luton after they had 30 points deducted and played in every round of the Hatters' FA Trophy success, scoring the winning goal in the semi-final defeat of Walsall.

Jarvis agreed personal terms with Mark Stimson last week, underwent a medical at The Hive on Monday and completed his move by signing at Underhill today. All newcomers to the Bees squad have had their contracts dated from July 1.
