Striker Charlie Stimson, a 6ft tall youngster who was with Tottenham Hotspur and then a scholar and youth team player at Gillingham, is to be Barnet's ninth close season signing.

Former Gillingham youth team manager Mark Patterson said of the 18-year-old: "Charlie is great with the ball to feet and very bright",

Stimson has had a loan stint at Redbridge and work experience with Ryman League Maidstone United. He underwent a medical at The Hive this afternoon will complete his move at Underhill tomorrow.
