WHO'S WHO AT THURROCK?
Mark Stimson will feature nine of his 10 new signings in Barnet's first pre-season friendly away to Blue Square Bet South Thurrock at 7.30 p.m. tomorrow.
The manager thoughtfully organised photographs of the squad to be taken after training at The Hive this afternoon so that supporters travelling to the match will be able to identify them.
The new boys are skipper Anwar Uddin, Rossi Jarvis, Danny Kelly, Ricky Holmes, Glen Southam, Charlie Stimson, Sam Cox, Glenn Poole, Jordan Parkes and another due to complete his signing later today subject to a medical.
An 11th newcomer, signed at the end of last season, is 17-year-old England U-18 defender Reece Yorke. He will figure against Thurrock.
So will Player of the Year Jake Cole, the Bees' ever-present goalkeeper, Joe Devera, Player of the Year after his first season as a professional, Northern Ireland international Mark Hughes, Clovis Kamdjo and Danny Hart. Daniel Leach, released by the Bees at the end of the season but invited back to train, will also get a chance - with other trialists - to impress manager Stimson.
Just to make it a happier get-together: Thurrock have signed former Barnet striker Cliff Akurang, who spent last season on loan with Rushden and Diamonds.
