The deadline to purchase a hospitality package and join the Underhill 200 club is 18th of August and Barnet's Commercial Manager commented: "This genuinely is a great opportunity for a business to win £70,000 worth of sports marketing, for a relatively small outlay."
As a member of the Underhill 200 Club you are entitled to an entry into an exclusive free draw to win the first prize of becoming the team's home shirt sponsor for the season. Click on the Underhill 200 Club link for more details.
Mark Stimson is planning to bring in a loan signing forward in the next 24 hours to bolster his squad for the visit of Burton Albion to Underhill on Saturday, he told
www.barnetfc.com this afternoon.
Although he said last week that he was happy to go ahead with the squad he has assembled since joining Barnet at the beginning of June, Stimson has been forced into action by the Grade 1 knee collateral injury that saw 29-year-old striker Steve Kabba stretchered off at Chesterfield and home player Craig Davies sent off.
The FA have since rejected Chesterfield's appeal over the red card brandished by Tyne and Wear referee Geoff Eltringham for a "reckless tackle" by Davies.
Simon Murphy, the Bees' new physiotherapist, has begun a rehabilitation programme with Kabba and reports: "No bad reaction", but the club is not putting a timetable on his return to action.
Right back
Joe Devera, who missed the midweek Carling Cup game away to Swansea City with a leg injury, is rated at "50-50" for the Burton game.
Reece Yorke, the 17-year-old England schoolboy international who signed for Barnet at the end of last season, returns to training tomorrow after 12 days on the sidelines with a patella injury he collected in training.
Stimson plans to watch 17-year-old
Mauro Vilhete in a Barnet youth game against Luton Town at The Hive before the Burton game. Vilhete, who made his debut for the Bees at the end of last season, is still a scholar and not available for training every day. "I'll be able to see him in action on Saturday to get a good assessment", said the manager.
