On the back of the 2-1 victory at Northampton Town on Saturday Mark Byrne has been selected in the League 2 team of the Week. His quality strike from distance must have impressed the selectors.

His goal levelled the scores at Sixfields, and set up the Bees went to record their second away win on the trot. His three goals this season have all been scored away from Underhill; this picture book goal being no exception and as Lawrie Sanchez said in a post-match interview "He doesn't do tap ins."

Just one Bee this week, in contrast to last weekend where the 3-0 win at Accrington Stanley prompted the selection of Mark Hughes, Mark Marshall and Ricky Holmes.
