SAM COX LEAVES THE BEES

Posted on: Fri 27 Jan 2012
Sam Cox is to stay on loan with Blue Square Bet South side Boreham Wood until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old former Tottenham Hotspur holding midfelder, who has been a regular with Boreham Wood since October, told www barnetfc.com: "I will keep myself in the shop window playing games and, hopefully, find myself a new club. I had hopes of staying at Barnet but it was not to be".
Cox, who has been restricted to six games with the Bees, had talks with manager Lawrie Sanchez and assistant Giuliano Grazioli about getting a chance at right back with Danny Senda injured or playing in midfield but was told his chances were limited by the signing of Arsenal's on-loan Switzerland U-18 defender Sead Hajrovic and the form in midfield of skipper Mark Hughes of Clovis Kamdjo.
