Michael is a central midfielder who joined the Bees in 2007 from Luton Town. He has league experience with the Hatters as well as Bristol Rovers and Brentford, with whom he spent the majority of the 2006/2007 season. He forged a good relationship with Neal Bishop during pre-season in the heart of midfield, but was injured in August and missed two months of the season. He has now returned to full fitness and adds a calm authority to the Bees midfield.
