Ismail took over the captain's armband last season. The powerful central defender is a danger in the air when the Bees have a free kick or a corner.
He scored the only goal of the game against MK Dons last season in a memorable Bees away victory and believes he could score ten goals this campaign.
He has been with Barnet since he was a schoolboy and although he has played occasionally in midfield for previous managers he prefers a role in central defence where his pace is a major asset.
