Nicky is a skilful and creative central midfielder who joined Barnet from Gretna in the summer of 2008. A hernia operation kept him out of the first few months of the season but he soon established his place in the first-team and put in a number of impressive performances. His composure on the ball is important in taking the pressure off the Bees' defence. Nicky won the 'Most Improved Player' award last season.
