Sagi joined the Bees in July 2007 from fellow League Two outfit Shrewsbury Town where he had been an integral part of the side during their run to the Play-Off final in the 2006-2007 season. Sagi brings a wealth of experience to the side having previously played in the Football League well over 200 times with Peterborough United, Colchester United, Crystal Palace and Port Vale as well as the Shrews. During pre-season he has formed a strong partnership at centre back with Ismail Yakubu and they have looked a solid back line this season. He has been a rock in defence this campaign and stood in as team captain during Ismail Yakubu's long period on the sidelines. Sagi has said that he is enjoying his football now rather than almost anytime in his career.
