Brief Directions By Road
Barrows Farm can be found just off Roydon Road (A1169) which is to the west of Harlow Town itself on the Pinnacles Industrial Estate. This is well signposted when quite close to the ground. From the M11 exit at junction 7 and take the A414 (London Road) up till the first roundabout. Turn left onto the A1169 (Southern Way) and follow signs for Roydon, be patient it is quite a drive from here but very straight forward. After numerous roundabouts and still on the A1169 you will be on Katherine's Way and then 3rd Avenue. When you reach the Roydon roundabout you will see the ground on your left.

If travelling via the A10 north, take the A414 also signposted Stanstead Abbots and Harlow. Stay on this road (which incorporates roundabouts) and eventually turn right onto the A1169 (Elizabeth Way). After a mile or so you will see the ground on the right.

Car Parking
No problems here - the long access from the main road leads around the ground and into a large car park behind the main stand.

Directions By Train
From Liverpool Street exit Harlow Town rail station walk up to the roundabout. Cross over the A414 (careful to look both ways) and onto the A1169 Roydon Road. You will pass a rugby and a cricket ground and then find the stadium to your right. 20 minutes brisk walk. Buses are like hatricks at Southbury Road and services are limited after normal office hours but taxis are plentiful from the station and from the town centre which is only a mile and a half from the stadium

Supporters Coaches
For information check out the BFCSA website at www.bfcsa.co.uk.

Eating And Drinking Locally
There is very little close to the ground being on an industrial estate so the town centre is bet best for selection- I can recommend The Moor Hen in Burnt Mill Lane which is slightly north of the ground off the A414 and close to the station. Nice pub, Greene King ales and good food too! If you have a lady in tow for the evening look no further than the Cock Inn in Three Horseshoes Road a short walk from the ground. Best for last - The Queens Head in Churchgate Street Old Harlow, outstanding. The Social Club will be open before and after the game and all are welcome.

Ground Description
The three million pound development at Barrows Farm is typical of a 21st Century stadium design for a club the size of Harlow. It has excellent facilities for hospitality and seated spectators plus sufficient covered terracing to cope with the demands of the Isthmian League and Conference North and South - 400 seats, covered standing for 500 opposite and a capacity of around 4,000.

Previous Meetings And Memories
The most recent meeting came in October 1990 when goals from Dave Howell, Gary Bull and Micky Bodley were more than enough to but us through to the 4th Qualifying round of the FA Cup. Nearly 2,000 watched that game at the Hawks' old stadium. In 1983 another comprehensive 5-1 victory, this time at Underhill, in the FA Cup included two from the "headless chicken" Steve Mahoney, and others from Steve Ragan, Billy Baldry and Kevin Millet. For Kevin and Bill to actually get on the scoresheet was rare enough but both in the same game?

Admission Prices
Terrace Isthmian League Premier League admission prices are quite reasonable however the club have not confirmed pricing as yet.

Interesting Information
The club played at the Harlow Sports Centre from 1960-2006 and did you know it was the first purpose built sports centre in England? Harlow is also proud to boast the first ever tower block development in the country in 1951. Christened The Lawn is now a grade 2 listed building. There is very likely to be a smattering of ex Bees in the Hawks line up including possibly Leon Lalite (nee Bell), Danny Chapman and Mark Taylor. Tommy Cunningham ex Bees coach is their Director of Football

Celebrity Watch
Glen Hoddle was bought up here and other famous ex residents include Rik Mayall, Jade Goody, Linda Lusardi and Griff Rhys Jones.
