Barnet FC Open Trials have had a number of success stories.
During the 2011/12 season a number of players were invited to train with the Academy, with three players going on to be offered schoolboy contracts in the U9 and U10 age groups.
During the 2012/13 season on U16 trialist was offered a scholarship and one U21 trialist went on to represent the Academy side in a number of Premier League Category Two U21 matches. Additionally after thr trials that were held during the spring of that season one U12 player signed two-year schoolboy forms over pre-season.
During the 2013/14 season two more U13 trialists were signed by the club after impressing in the Open Trials that were held in autumn. The both signed two-year schoolboy forms and went on to impress throughout the season, forming part of the U13 side that was unbeaten during the first half of the season and managed to beat every opponent in their programme at least once.
Well done to all of those players, and here's to the many more in the future!
