Versatile defender Alie Sesay joined Barnet Football Club from Premier League side Leicester City in January 2016.

Capable of playing at centre-back or right-back, Alie has also been successfully deployed in a holding midfield role since moving to The Hive.

A full Sierra Leone international, Alie made his debut for the Leon Stars in an African Cup of Nations qualifier against Cameroon in October 2014.

Enfield-born Alie began his career at Arsenal before moving to Leicester in 2010. He spent six years at the King Power Stadium but did not make a senior appearance for the Foxes.

Instead he took in loan spells with Colchester United and Cambridge United before joining the Bees in January.

Alie made 13 appearances for the Bees in his first five months with the club.
