Jamie was signed last summer from Newport County and initially provided back-up for first choice keeper Graham Stack, although he clearly had ambitions of his own.

He played superbly in the absence of the injured Stack who was out from early in the season. He has impressed greatly with a run as the first choice keeper as was a popular choice as Player of The Year.

The 6ft 2in keeper began his career began his career with Forest Green Rovers and Swindon Town before earning a move to Premier League giants Liverpool in 2010 where he trained alongside Pepe Reina.

He spent three years with the Anfield side, taking in a loan spell with Airbus UK Broughton, before being released without making a senior appearance for the Reds.

Jamie's next move was to Newport County where he played a handful of games in two seasons with the Exiles before being released. That led him to The Hive and he has not looked back since.
