Commanding goalkeeper Josh Vickers joined Barnet on a season-long loan from Premier League side Swansea City ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.

Josh had previously played against Barnet for Concord Rangers during the 2014/15 campaign as a young Bees side were knocked out of the FA Trophy by the Conference South side in a replay at The Hive.

Born in Brentwood, Josh began his career with Arsenal's youth team and spent time back on loan in Essex with Canvey Island and Concord.

In August 2015 Josh was snapped up by Swansea City on a two-year deal and he was an unused substitute for the Swans for their 1-1 Premier League draw against Manchester City in May 2016.

Josh made his EFL debut as Barnet drew 1-1 with Cambridge United on the opening day of the 2015/16 season and has a healthy rivalry going with Jamie Stephens to be Barnet's number one.
