Goalkeeper Kai McKenzie-Lyle joined Barnet Football Club as an Under-14 having previously been with Tottenham Hotspur.

Born in Haringey, Kai was first-choice keeper as Barnet's Under-18s won the Football League Youth Alliance in 2015 and appeared on the bench for the first team in 2014.

In September 2015 Kai was handed his first-team debut as a substitute following Jamie Stephen's dismissal at Portsmouth in League Two.

Kai earnt his first international call-up with Guyana in October 2016 and marked the occasion by scoring a late header in a 3-2 defeat to Suriname in extra time.

On his second outing for the Golden Jaguars Kai saved a penalty against Jamaica.

Kai possess a tall frame with an excellent shot-stopping as well as good distribution with both hands and feet who always looks to play forward when the opportunity arises.
