Bees sign Laurie Walker

We are delighted to have added to our 2022/23 season squad with the signing of Laurie Walker from Stevenage on a permanent basis.

The 6ft 5ins goalkeeper came through MK Dons’ academy, where he earned a move to Cambridge United in 2009.

Notable spells at Kettering Town, Hemel Hempstead Town, Oxford City and Brackley Town followed for the 32-year-old before returning back to Stadium MK in 2019.

Walker also joins the Bees with EFL experience after representing Oldham Athletic and Stevenage.

Dean Brennan said: “Laurie is a super shot-stopper who commands his area well through his leadership qualities.

“He will bring a lot of experience into our group and we are delighted to have signed him.”

Welcome to the Bees, Laurie!

The deal is subject to the usual regulatory processes.
