Barnet Football Club would like to provide this update following today’s meeting with our players, backroom staff, the PFA and Kick It Out.

The meeting was arranged to further discuss the events of last Saturday’s match, the procedure followed and the process going forward. 

The key points from the meeting:

• We would like to make clear that contrary to media reports, the alleged racist comment was not made by a member of our coaching or medical staff.
• There is an ongoing investigation with The FA and Police which the Club are assisting with.
• We will continue to work closely with The FA and Police, with further updates provided when necessary. 

We would like to stress that there is no place for racism or discrimination of any kind within the Club, the game or modern-day society.
