Barnet kicked off their pre-season campaign on Saturday with a resounding 6-1 win over Hungerford Town.

The Bees fielded a different side in each half, with a six-minute hat-trick from John Akinde and spectacular strike from the halfway line by Sam Togwell helping to give them a 4-1 lead by the interval.

Youth Team striker Mathew Stevens then added a fifth with an acrobatic overhead kick before trialist Sam Akinde, younger brother of John, netted a sixth in the closing stages.
