IFFY ALLEN PENS PRO DEAL

Barnet Football Club are delighted to announce that second-year scholar Iffy Allen has signed a long term contract with the club.
The 18-year-old came through the club’s college programme before making his senior debut against Oxford United in the FA Cup first round.
Allen has also featured heavily for the Development Squad this season in the Barclays Under-21 Professional Development League.
Academy manager James Thorne hailed the youngster’s ability to change a game and create something from nothing.
“Iffy is a player with great potential and is a player that can change a game in a heartbeat.
“He has two qualities that are the most sought after in the modern game, devastating pace and the ability to travel at speed with the ball.”
Thorne continued by stating that should Allen stay focussed and work hard then he can go on to achieve great things within the game.
“He has worked hard over the last year or so but will need to work even harder if he is to fulfil his undoubted potential.
“If he is able to stay focussed and bring a level of consistency to his performances there will be absolutely no limit to where his career can go.”
On behalf of everyone at the club we would like to wish Iffy all the best for his football career.
