Loan Watch | Justin Amaluzor gets his first goal for Hemel Hempstead Town

The Tudors went 1-0 down after they gave away a needless free-kick on the edge of the area in the 22nd minute. Weston captain Dale Grubb stepped up and comfortably placed it into the top corner, giving Hemel keeper Laurie Walker little chance of making the save.

However, it wasn’t long before Hemel were level. Captain Jordan Parkes played a fantastic through ball to Amaluzor, who was very composed as he chipped the keeper to bring the scores level.

A first goal and a point for Amaluzor leaves Hemel Hempstead 9th in the Vanarama National League South, only a single point outside of the playoffs. Tom Day also played the full 90 minutes for Hemel Hempstead Town, producing a solid defensive performance in the draw.

Elsewhere, Joe Payne didn’t feature as his Solihull Moors side lost 2-1 at home to Hartlepool, leaving The Moors five points from safety in the Vanarama Nation League.
