Loan Watch – Tom Day re-joins Hemel Hempstead on loan

He played the full 90 minutes in the Herts Charity Cup semi-final as The Tudors beat Royston Town 4-1 to set up a final against Hitchin Town.

Goals from Jordan Parkes, Spencer McCall, Will Hoskin and Matty Spring were more than enough to see off The Crows.

The club last won the competition in 2010, whereas Hitchin Town are yet to win the Cup to date despite making the final last season.

Elsewhere, Dan Sweeney played 90 minutes as his Hampton & Richmond Borough side beat Chippenham Town 1-0.

The only goal of the game came in the 75th minute, Bradley Hudson-Odoi scoring after a wonderful counter-attack lead by Max Kretzschmar and Malachi Napa.

The Beavers are now up to ninth in the table, two points and two spaces outside of the playoffs.

This now means since joining Hampton, the side have won all four of the league games Sweeney has featured in, his only loss coming against Truro City in the Fourth Round of FA Cup Qualifying.
