Barnet Football Club

Centre-half Reynolds arrived in the summer and brings with him plenty of experience of wearing the armband having been the captain at both of his previous clubs, Aldershot Town and Boreham Wood.

After making the decision, Still said:

“I looked at the players here and I looked at the players I’d brought in.

“From the day he walked in the door, he was a talker and he was an organiser. I felt he is the right one for us.”

After finding out the news, Reynolds gave us his thoughts:

“I’m very proud, those are the first words that spring to mind, and extremely happy.

“John is a very experienced manager and for him to choose me to be his captain, to lead the team not just on the pitch, but off it as well, is something I’m very proud of.

“It’s also something I’ll enjoy as well. I’ll enjoy the responsibility of being the leader of this team.”
