UPDATE FROM THE TREATMENT ROOM

8 December 2012

Latest Bees Injury News

Ahead of this afternoon's match we caught up with Stuart Ayles from our medical team for an 'Update From The Treatment Room'

Collins John

Collins underwent surgery for a deep direct and a superficial indirect inguinal hernia last week and is currently recovering under the direction of the surgeon. We hope to begin Collins’ rehabilitation early next week if given the go ahead.

Ishmail Kamara

Ishmail continues to do well 4 weeks post shoulder surgery. He is regaining range of movement and strength and is on schedule for a return in the new year

Luke Gambin

Luke has recovered well from an ankle injury sustained whilst on loan at Hendon 3 weeks ago and should be back in full training next week

John Oster

John now appears to be close to returning to training after a very troublesome calf injury which, for unknown reasons, even after both MRI and ultrasound investigation, failed to respond to treatment. We expect to see him back on the training with the squad early next week

Liam O’Brien

Liam returned to full training this week after a 3 month complicated multi-factorial pelvic issue and is doing well whilst continuing with extra work in the gym.

Steve Kabba

Steve has had further MRI investigation this week to try and determine the cause of the pain that is currently preventing him from making that last final step from functional rehab into full training and then playing. We will see his surgeon next week to discuss the results of this latest scan.
