PLAYERS VISIT TRUST SOCCER SCHOOLS

16 August 2013

Barnet FC players visit the Trust's Soccer Schools.

Last week new Spanish signings Luisma Villa and Roberto Garcia Casabella visited the Barnet FC Community Trust’s Summer Soccer Schools at The Hive.

The players showed just why they've settled in nicely to surroundings at the Hive by conversing in English with the children and teaching them Spanish in return.

Both players signed autographs and had photos taken, then captained two teams in a small sided match organised for the children.

They also had a go at crossbar challenge but failed with 3 attempts each before one of the children showed them how it should be done by hitting the bar first go!

Mauro Vilhete and Jamal Lowe attended the Summer Soccer Schools at Underhill and took part in the fun and games with the children.

The Summer Soccer Schools have been well attended and as a treat Mauro Vilhete and Jamal Lowe showed up to demonstrate some skills, take part in a technical session, sign some much sought after autographs and answer some very interesting questions!

This week Barnet FC Community Trust's Development Centre at the Hive had Keanu Marsh-Brown and Marciano Mengerink attend and share some jokes with the participants, while Jordan Brown and Freddie Warren were at Underhill.

It's not too late to join the fun. We have spaces available at both the Hive and Underhill. Call us on 020 8441 6932 option 5 or email info@bfccommunitytrust.co.uk for more information.
