COMMUNITY TRUST HAVE BUSY HALF TERM

5 March 2013

The Barnet FC community trust were busy this half term - read on to see how

Barnet FC Community Trust was busy over the February half term week with our holiday soccer schools for children at Underhill Cricket Club playing fields.

From as young as 3 years old right up to 14 years old, children learnt new skills and played in tournaments despite the cold weather conditions.

With a variety of challenging topics including passing, dribbling, shooting and defending practised during the week, there was an opportunity for us to see some potential stars of the future learn their trade.

There was a strong Baby Bee’s, Junior Bee’s and Senior Bee’s turn out, and their hard work was rewarded with special guest appearances from Graham Stack, Jake Hyde and Harry Crawford.

The players were on hand to give out trophies, prizes, certificates and to also answer some very good questions!

Overall it was a great week for the children, many of which went home muddy but with a smile on their faces!

We are currently running our Saturday soccer schools at Underhill Cricket Club playing fields: Baby Bees (3-5 year olds) 9-10am or 10.15-11.15am; Junior Bees (6-11 year olds) 9.30-11am; and Senior Bees (12-14 year olds) 9.30-11am.
