Jack Taylor speaks to barnetfc.com after being recalled from a loan spell by the Bees...
Barnet midfielder Jack Taylor has been recalled from his loan spell at Hampton & Richmond Borough and is now aiming to break into the first team after returning to The Hive.
The 18-year-old only extended his stay at the Beveree Stadium at the end of November following a successful initial month-long stay with the Beavers.
But he rejoined first-team training at The Hive on Tuesday and will now compete for a place in the first team as Rossi Eames and Henry Newman prepare the side for Saturday’s EFL League Two match at Yeovil Town.
Speaking upon his return, Taylor said: “It’s been good being back, I’ve worked with Henry and Rossi in the youth team so I am used to them.
“I’m going to try my hardest to break through into the first team and become a consistent player for Barnet.”
Reflecting on his time at Hampton & Richmond Borough, where he played alongside former Bee Jamal Lowe, Taylor said: “It was a very good experience.
“I got used to men’s football; different styles of play and how to adapt to the physical demands of the game – tackles, headers – that’s what I needed to work on.”
