Reserve Fixture: Peterborough United (H)

15 February 2016

The Bees reserves take on Peterborough this Tuesday afternoon.

A Barnet FC reserve side are set to play Peterborough United at The Hive tomorrow.

The match will kick off at 1pm on 16th February, and supporters are invited to come down and watch the Bees in action!

Looking ahead to the game, Development Coach Ross Eames said:

“The squad for tomorrow’s match will include Kai McKenzie-Lyle, Sam Muggleton, Tom Day, Nana Keyi, Harry Taylor, Mat Stevens, Mauro Vilhete, Wesley Fonguck, Fumnaya Shomotun, Ryan Gondoh, Shane Cojocarel and a number of trialists.

“We’ve had a game nearly every Tuesday for the past six weeks, and we want to carry on the development of these players – continuing the winning mentality that we’ve seen recently.

“We’ve established that through good football, good attitude, and work rate off the ball.

“We’ve been pressing teams with high intensity.

“Players are now stepping up into the first team, like Shomotun did at the weekend against Dagenham.

“So there’s a clear pathway there for players coming through – that’s very pleasing.

“I think that five players have made first team debuts this season, so things are looking very bright for the future.”
