POTY Awards 2017 - The Winners!

The 2016/17 Player Of The Year Awards took place on Saturday night in Grazioli's Bar.

John Akinde was the big winner on the night, scooping four awards, including Members' Player and Players' Player Of The Year. 

Jamie Stephens and Mauro Vilhete both picked up two awards each, while Simeon Akinola went home with Goal Of The Season for his overhead kick against Crawley Town.

Assistant First Team Coach Rossi Eames claimed the Lester Finch trophy for his continued commitment to Barnet Football Club, while Jack Taylor won Young Player Of The Year.

1. Most Improved Player Of The Year – Mauro Vilhete. 
2. Members’ Player Of The Year – John Akinde. 
3. Lester Finch Trophy – Rossi Eames. 
4. Goal Of The Season – Simeon Akinola.
5. Players’ Player Of The Year – John Akinde. 
6. Clubman Of The Year – Jamie Stephens. 
7. Young Player Of The Year – Jack Taylor. 
8. Player Of The Year – John Akinde. 
9. Foundation Player of the Year - Jamie Stephens
10. Swedish Player Of The Year - John Akinde.
11. Norwegian Player Of The Year - Mauro Vilhete
