Barnet FC assistant coach Alex Armstrong has travelled to New Zealand to resume his coaching responsibilities with the All Whites.
Following the Stevenage game at the weekend, Alex was released from Barnet to allow him to join up with the national team. This was pre-agreed prior to him joining the club.
New Zealand face the Solomon Islands over two legs in the OFC play-off final. The winning nation will face the fifth placed side from South America, at present Argentina, for a place in the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Alex will fly back and rejoin Barnet following the second play-off match on September 5th in Honiara.
Everyone at Barnet FC and The Hive London wish Alex and the New Zealand national team the best of luck.
