Winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce speaks about the impact of Rossi Eames and Henry Newman, plus the Bees' recent progress...
Jamal Campbell-Ryce says Rossi Eames and Henry Newman have provided an environment where Barnet's players can show more freedom of expression since the pair were appointed in December.
The winger showed that on Saturday with a fine display in Barnet's hard-fought 1-1 draw at Carlisle United and says he has been impressed by Eames and Newman in the last two months.
"It's been really bright and positive," Campbell-Ryce said. "They have got their own methods in training and they're encouraging.
"They encourage people to go and express themselves which is refreshing for players like myself, Nana, Mauro, young Jack Taylor and John.
"I'd like to think it's the freedom to express yourself [which is the biggest change]," he continued. "Nothing against Martin Allen but we're more free to play under them.
"Everyone is enjoying themselves and there's a happy vibe around the place."
And that has extended to a number of youngsters who have been heavily involved in the last eight weeks, not least Jack Taylor and Nana Kyei.
"They've done fantastically well," admitted Campbell-Ryce. "There's a whole influx of young lads coming through.
"Jack and Nana are at the forefront of it at the moment but there are some other young ones coming through.
"Off the top of my head there is young Ephron who is really unlucky to not be in and around it at the moment. The future is bright here."
