Bees boss gives Stag Lane school children some good advice

23 June 2017

Budding footballers learned about the importance of working hard and eating right when they met Bees head coach Rossi Eames at The Hive on Friday.

The party of 120 Year 2 boys and girls from Stag Lane Junior School in Edgware were treated to a tour of the stadium before taking part in a range of games led by the club’s Foundation coaches and hearing a talk from Eames.

Karen Hughes, deputy head of the school – whose annual sports day is held at The Hive – said: “To promote community links, it’s a really good way of getting to know this stadium.

“A lot of the children come here for clubs and to watch games through The Hive Foundation. This is a really nice end of year celebration for Year 2 to come and take part in sports.”
