Bees close to making new signings, says Rossi

Boss working to ‘pick the right people’

31 May 2017

Barnet head coach Rossi Eames is optimistic of strengthening his squad during the coming days.

The Bees boss has been working to bring new players to the club ever since his permanent appointment was confirmed earlier this month.

“We have our targets and we identified them early, but there’s a process of meeting them and making sure they’re the right people for the club, the team and the squad,” Eames told barnetfc.com.

“Hopefully in the next week or so those targets will be signed. There’s still a lot of work going on behind the scenes.

“I’m in every day, making sure we’re going to capture these targets. It’s about being patient and also about picking the right people.

“The club’s ambitious, the chairman’s ambitious and so am I and it’s important that we get the right people and players in place. We need to be stronger than 15th in the league and carry on the good work that’s been done.”
