Captain Michael Nelson is now one away from making 100 appearances for Barnet Football Club.
The 37-year-old defender made the 700th appearance of his career last month and could make it a century for Barnet if he features this Saturday at Crawley Town.
Hailing from Gateshead, the Admiral arrived at The Hive London in the summer of 2015 and he made his debut in our League Cup victory at Millwall.
He scored his first of two Barnet goals away to Dagenham & Redbridge in a 2-0 win, a sweetly struck first time volley at the far post.
After just one season at the club, he was handed the captaincy at the start of the 2016 campaign and in 2017, he became our U23’s Head Coach alongside his playing duties.
The veteran defender is much loved by both supporters and staff, and everyone at The Hive London would like to congratulate Michael on another outstanding upcoming milestone.
