Last Time Out:
The Bees, who sit seventh in Group C of the Youth Alliance League, will be hoping to return to winning ways after falling to a 2-1 defeat to Wimbledon in their most recent fixture.
Oxford, on the other hand, enter Wednesday’s game in high spirits after thrashing Forest Green Rovers 5-0 away from home at the weekend. Goals from Owen, Harry Sampford, Aaron McCreadie, Lopes and Jordan Edwards sealed the victory as the O’s remain top of Group D.
Last Season’s Youth Cup Form:
Barnet secured a comfortable 4-0 victory over Wingate & Finchley in the opening round of the FA Youth Cup last season. Roy Syla, Benjy Aghadiuno and a brace from Greg Adinna ensured The Bees eased through to the next round. However, it was a different story at the second hurdle as they fell to a 3-1 defeat to MK Dons.
Oxford went one better than The Bees last season. They beat Gloucester City 2-1 after extra time in Round One before clinching a 3-1 win over Bristol Rovers at the second stage. However, their run ended in Round Three at the hands of Dagenham & Redbridge, losing 3-0.
