Bees Midfielder Wesley Fonguck played a full 90 minutes on his debut for the England C team last night as they earned a 1-0 win over Estonia Under 23's.
The Three Lions were deserved winners and should have won by more than just the one goal, which came from the penalty spot and was scored by Havant & Waterlooville striker, and one time Bee, Alfie Pavey in the 65th minute.
Barnet Academy graduate, and our current joint top scorer, Fonguck impressed in an advanced midfield role and was very comfortable on the ball creating several good attacking opportunities.
The England C team, who trained at The Hive London in the build-up to the game at Leyton Orient, are managed by former Bees boss Paul Fairclough.
Congratulations on your first cap, Wes!
