David Tutonda reacts to win over Maidenhead United

22 December 2019

David Tutonda was instrumental in Barnet's 4-1 win over Maidenhead United on Saturday afternoon and capped off an impressive performance with a fantastic goal. Following the game, David answered questions on the team performance, his goal, his preferred position and confidence within the group.

On the performance

It was really pleasing, especially after going 1-0 down, it was crucial to bounce back quickly and we managed to get one back quick and the second one not too long after.

We knew what type of game it would be down here so we just had to roll our sleeves up and get the job done, and we did that to a man.

On his goal

I've played the ball to Simeon who's found Wesley, and Wesley's set up for me makes the goal, I just did the easy part by tucking it away!

On his preferred position

I don't mind. I can play left-back, I've played centre-back, left-midfield and left-wing. Anywhere down the left but more importantly, it's wherever the gaffer wants to put me and I'll give my all.

On confidence within the team

We went through a tough patch where we couldn't win and we had to repay the gaffer by getting some wins on the bounce.

We've managed to do that now with four wins on the trot and we just have to keep that going.
