International | Jack Taylor features against Brazil as Republic of Ireland lose out in semi final

Jack Taylor made his second appearance for the Republic of Ireland Under 21's in yesterday's Semi-Final defeat to Brazil.

Ireland, competing in their first Toulon Tournament Semi-Final, faced tough opposition against a Brazil U22 side preparing for the Olympic Games next summer and featured stars who regularly grace the top flights in Germany, Spain, Portugal and back home in Brazil.

With Brazil leading 2-0 thanks to goals from Leverkusen's Paulinho and Leipzig's Matheus Cunha, Jack Taylor entered the game in the 66th minute.

Ireland will face Mexico in Saturday's 3rd-4th Place Play-Off taking place in Salon-de-Provence, kick off at 12:30 GMT.
