Vanarama National League – The Hive London – Tuesday 12th March 2019 – KO: 19:45
Barnet will be hoping to bounce back from Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Gateshead when they host Halifax Town tomorrow night.
It was only a week ago since these two sides last met with the Bees falling to a 3-0 defeat at The Shay.
Devante Rodney found the net on 36 minutes before James Perry made it 2-0 just shy of the hour mark. The game was put out of Barnet’s reach with just over 15 minutes remaining when former Bee Manny Duku added a third.
Manager: Jamie Fullarton
Jamie Fullarton has been in charge of the Shaymen for just over a year now.
The 44-year-old began his managerial career at Notts County in 2016 but left the club after just 12 games in charge.
As a player, Fullarton started out at St Mirren before going on to play for the likes of Crystal Palace, Dundee United, Brentford and Southend before hanging up his boots in 2005 whilst at Woodlands Wellington. He also represented Scotland at Under-21 level and captained the side at the 1996 U21 European Championship.
After retirement, Fullarton was part of the coaching staff at Nottingham Forest, Bolton, Blackburn and was first team coach at Crystal Palace.
One to Watch: Matty Kosylo
Midfielder Matty Kosylo will be hoping to pose a threat again tomorrow night, having caused the Bees all sorts of problems last time out.
He hasn’t found the net since November though and will be eager to end that drought when his side travel to North London tomorrow, adding to his goal tally of four for the season.
Recent League Form:
Halifax Town, who sit 15th, are unbeaten in their least five league games.
The Shaymen drew 0-0 with Aldershot last month before beating Maidstone United 1-0 three days later. However, they were held to another goalless draw in their next fixture when playing host to Havant & Waterlooville before beating Eastleigh 1-0. They go into tomorrow’s game off the back of that 3-0 win against us last Tuesday.
As for their away form, Halifax have only won four out of their 18 games on the road this season. They have also scored 31, conceding 32.
