Barnet FC can confirm eight players that will be leaving the Club following the completion of their contracts this summer.
Dave Tarpey, Joe Payne, Dwight Pascal, Nana Kyei, Fumnaya Shomotun, Byron Harrison, Malakai Hinckson-Mars and Darnell Smith will all be departing The Hive London.
Tarpey arrived at The Hive London on Summer Deadline Day in 2017 and made a great professional debut in our 4-1 win away at Swindon Town. However, an injury plagued two seasons has limited him to just 17 appearances, scoring on the 1 occasion.
Byron Harrison arrived in the summer of 2018 and registered 2 goals for the Bees, most notably the winner away to Bristol Rovers in our First Round FA Cup replay.
Mars, like Tarpey, joined on the Summer Deadline Day in 2017, returning to the club following several years in the Chelsea youth system.
Joe Payne, Dwight Pascal, Nana Kyei, Fumnaya Shomotun and Darnell Smith are all products of Barnet FC's Academy that went on to make First Team appearances.
The eight players leave with our best wishes and our thanks for their efforts whilst with the Club.
Head Coach Darren Currie remains in discussions with a number of the current squad and a full retained list will be published upon completion, closer to the deadline.
