W 2-1 - Yeovil Town (A)

W 2-0 - Ebbsfleet United (H)

The opposition:

The Town currently sit 4th in the Vanarama National League and are nine games unbeaten in all competitions following a strong start to the season. They have been strong at the CNG Stadium too, where they last suffered defeat at home to Dover on August 31st.

The host's wins have regularly been by a solitary goal, including Saturday's 1-0 win over Aldershot Town, so we can expect another tight encounter at the CMG this evening. The Bees do come into the game in poor form but know that one win could see them level on points with the playoff pack so it's all to play for in this National League clash.

The Gaffer - Simon Weaver

Having passed the ten-year milestone in May 2019, Simon Weaver is one of English football’s longest-serving managers.

In 2015/16 Weaver guided Town to a club-high finish of fourth in the National League North and helped the club reach the FA Cup 2nd Round in 2012/13.

The 2017/18 season saw Weaver achieve promotion with Town, beating Brackley in the Play-Off Final in front of 3000 supporters at The CNG Stadium.

After featuring for the likes of Doncaster Rovers, Kidderminster, and Scarborough in his days as a center-half, Weaver now has Town looking to reach the Football League for the first time.

Top Scorer - Brendan Kiernan

The Town midfielder leads the way with five goals this campaign and has been in good form recently scoring 3 goals in his last five matches, including both goals in the 2-0 victory over Ebbsfleet United at the CNG Stadium. He also netted the opener in Town's impressive 2-1 away triumph over Yeovil Town.
